Louetta Breaux Lantier Funeral service will be held at 10:00 am, Monday, November 18, 2013 at a mass of Christian Burial at Assumption Church in Mire, La. For Mrs. Howard Lantier, 92, the former Louetta Breaux, who passed away at 11:38 am, November 16, 2013, at Rayne Guest Home. Internment will be in Assumption Church Cemetery in Mire. Mrs. Lantier was born February 15, 1921 in Acadia Parish and has lived there all her life She was married to her husband Howard for nearly 64 years. She was a member of the Ladies Alter Society at Assumption Church and a Auxiliary member of the Mire Fire Dept. also CDA of Mire. Mrs. Lantier enjoyed dancing, sewing, quilting and gardening. She also looked forward to and enjoyed family gatherings. She is survived by her five daughters Barbra L. Comeaux and husband Ricks, Sapha L. Richard, Beverly L. Leger all of Rayne, Erleen L. Avelino and husband Joe of Houston, TX, and Patsy L. Bienvenu and husband Charlie of The Woodlands, TX., her 10 grandchildren include David Comeaux and wife Rhonda of Rayne, Andrea Comeaux of Katy, TX. Allison Comeaux of Rayne, Jason Ricks Comeaux ande Rebecca of Scott, Jeremy Monceaux of Rayne, Rachael L. Devillier and husband Chip of Carencro, Kristi L. Benoit and husband Todd of Rayne, Charles Bienvenu IV of The Woodlands, TX. Christine B. McArdle of Kingwood, TX. Stephen Bienvenu of The Woodlands, TX. She also leaves 16 great grandchildren Aimee D. Delahoussaye and husband Jacob of Carencro, Staff Sgt. Zachary James Comeaux, USMC Ft Worth, TX. Ethan and Caleb Comeaux of Rayne, Jaelynn Comeaux, Jason Ricks Comeaux II of Scott, Ani Michelle Comeaux and Andrew Robert Comeaux of Scott, Nicholas Benoit of Rayne, Bradyn Hayes Bienvenu of The Woodlands, TX. Sophia Bienvenu and Thomas Daniel Bienvenu of Texas. Kaylen Monceaux of Arnauville, Dillon Patrick McArdle and Martial Emmit McArdle of Kingwood, TX. 1 Step great grandson Blade Leger of Rayne. Unborn great grandchildren are Baby Delahoussaye and Baby McArdle are expected in the spring of 2014, She also has one great great granddaughter Olivia B. Comeauxof Ft. Worth, TX. and a great great grandson Jackson Lane Delahoussay of Carencro. She is also survived by 2 sisters Verdie B. Arceneaux and Joyce B. Arceneaux both of Rayne. She was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Howard Victor Lantier and a grandson Jon Ryan Monceaux, Her parents Leonce and Doris Blanchard Breaux, 2 brothers, Bradley Breaux Sr. and Austin Breaux. The family wishes to express their deep appreciation to the Rayne Guest Home and their wonderful staff since June 26, 2009 until her death. Many thanks to Dr. Curtis especially nurses Jada, Francis and Terry, Hospice Compassius. Aids Danielle, Natalie, Tina and Eukisha. Pallbearers will be David Comeaux, Jason Comeaux, Jeremy Monceux, Chuck Bienvenu, Stephen Bienvenu, and Nicholas Benoit. A rosary will be prayed at 7:00 pm at the Gossen Funeral Home in Rayne, LA.
